Night Panorama from el Baúl by José Moreno

Well this was a little rough because we were the last people to be in this place (maybe the only decent) but I managed to take this cute picture so if you can be there at this time this is what you can enjoy a great view around Quetzaltenango and a perfect sunset.

Tuesday from the hill by José Moreno

Cerro el Baúl, which also we know simply as El Baul, one of the favorite places for residents and foreigners to visit, it finds the southwestern limit of the town about 3km from the volcano called Cerro Quemado, the place is ideal for running to the top, eat on Sundays, and there are other attractive two extreme things can still be done there, you know what?

PD. this photo was not taken from the top, there you can have a better look and tell us what you thought.

Do you know somewhere i took this photo?

Beautiful Rainbow

Rainbow from on high

Thanks to my friend María Fernanda Chó who captured this beautiful picture, I searched several angles to see it but could not find it and I told her and gladly agreed.

I heard many stories over the rainbow “When the rainbow appears, the rain will end” and so many stories about. You’ve heard stories about rainbows and what’s your favorite? tell us.

Trecherous Roads by Jose Moreno

The roads in Xela, especially in the core are known for being beautiful and hilly and cobblestone and….dangerous. It just gives me even more appreciation for the lovely women here who wear heels all day long!

A New Angle by Jose Moreno

My apologies, I am not sure quite what happened…I posted for Thursday and Friday and came online this morning to see that NOTHING had been posted. Sorry faithful readers 🙁

I particularly love this shot by guest contributor Jose Moreno and the unusual angle from which it was shot. Can anyone guess where this photo was taken from? Jose, don’t give it away too quickly!
