Karin Eli by José Moreno

These drawings find them in the strangest places, for example, this was on a sidewalk and measured as 3 inches, and is so detailed and beautiful, and heard much lately of Karin Eli and two Saturdays ago was in “Tilde” giving a course of drawing (I could not go: () but I promise that the next time this will be the first to arrive, right this cute picture?

The Devil's Chair by José Moreno

I can bet that when they read the title of the photo you are scared! but no quiet is just a couch with a skull carved back, this almost always see in places of piercings, tattoos, skates, etc.. Have you seen anything more sinister than that?

This was always my favorite, is located within “El Artesano Bakery” (antes “El Infinito”) and well as these there are many around Xela, some have been painted by foreign visitors and other local artists.

If anyone know what would be your favorite mural in Xela?

Why? by Sergio Dominguez

We’re all voyeurs…admit it, so are you. Those of us who take photos and those of us who enjoy the emotion and the questions a good photo raises, yes…we are voyeurs. This shot by guest contributor Sergio Dominguez raises so many questions for me. Is the girl of the couple crying with her head in her lap and if so, why is she crying? Did her boyfriend tell her something awful or has she just lost someone she loves? We will never know, but I find this photo extremely moving.

Graffiti by Luna McCarthy

Graffiti is such a personal style of art. Some of it is offensive, some is quite beautiful, while yet other graffiti is indecipherable. If you are a graffiti fan, there is certainly no shortage of it in Xela!

Quetzal graffiti

Xela has some pretty cool graffitis all over the city. Some of them are the national bird, quetzal. I have seen other quetzales in different neighborhoods, but this one is located in 14th Avenue.
