Old Guatemalan Traditions by José Moreno

One of the traditions is to put a black bow Guatemalan households where someone died ah and also make a “novena” and to finish it out in the middle of the night to water down the street with pine candles and so fired the soul of the person.

Statues of Babies by José Moreno

This is one of the few mausoleums having babies statues, sculptures how are you do not have any wings, but that does not detract from the merit of the artist at work, this tomb is the Juarez family and dates back 1,850.

Temple in the cemetery by José Moreno

The Aguilar family tomb shaped Templete, could be labeled with neoclassical columns and method for its construction, one of the more colorful before reaching “La Loma”, we can see some cracks in the columns but this almost intact.

Old statues in the cemetery from Italy by José Moreno

Throughout the cemetery are achieved xela how are you finding statues (many already incomplete) as and read the inscriptions and many have been here for over 150 years and are made of marble exported from Italy.

The heart shaped angel with heaven acsenso this scene is really no work sculpture in relief, statues of angels and souls are often mistaken for representing similar characteristics, this statue for example indicates that the wings are the preserve of figures of angels heavenly messengers and guides that help the soul to traffic light.
