So many travelers know of the funny little bridge (punte Dos Chocoyos) that runs parallel to 15 Avenida. But there is another little bridge, similar in structure, just off of 5 Calle, about 3 blocks away from the park. What gets told to the tourists is that those bridges were built for the flooding that can occur on those streets. They certainly seem built for that, but as sometimes the story is more “story”…perhaps a local could verify that for us? Cristina or Orlando (or other local readers)…do you know why those bridges are there?
