Taking Some Sun by Jose Moreno

The Spanish and English languages have some commonalities, of course. But there are many differences also. For one, in Spanish the verb ‘tomar’ is used in substitute of ‘drink’ or ‘eat’ or sometimes ‘enjoy’. In English we do not use the verb ‘take’ when referring to food or beverages. Oddly enough we substitute the verb ‘have’. Except in the occasion when we refer to ‘taking in’ something, as in ‘absorbing’.

In this example, the caterpillar taking (in) some well deserved sun after a rain shower, would be a perfect way to describe this photo.
