A view from Doce Avenida, as the street enters Parque Central. I have lived here for almost 3 years now and I still look around every day and see how beautiful this city is. The design style and age of the buildings, the hills, mountains and volcanoes and the plethora of colors that tease the eye; it all never ceases to amaze me. And it’s funny, once you live somewhere new for a period of time, you would think the wonder would wear off, but for me it hasn’t. I still look around in awe at my new(ish) home. There are of course things I don’t really notice anymore, for example, there is something you can see in this picture that used to be glaringly obvious to me, when I first moved here, (as I was not accustomed to seeing it in previous places I had lived), but now I never even notice anymore. Can you guess what that is?
