Invisible People

Invisible People by Luna McCarthy

Xela like many other cities has a problem with homelessness. There is not a formal shelter here in the city centre and it is not uncommon to see homeless people and/or intoxicated men sleeping it off in a door frame or curled up in a corner. It can be a little disarming when you first see a person sleeping on the sidewalk, but it is a universal problem that needs to be addressed by many countries. The fellow in this doorway gives the impression of being a “travelling homeless”, but many of them do, as they need to day their day-to-day essentials with them wherever they go.
